After the virus ate my laptop I decided enough messing about! I got the laptop cleaned up and got myself a brand new desk computer for the Mongoose Burrow. I had to take the desk computer back once because they hadn't put in a diallup modem in it. D'oh! I guess I'm just an old fashioned goirl. Still on the diallup. But at least with this purchase I am a step away from a second-hand Frankenputer, so Yay! w00t! Go me!

I just got it wrangled into my preferred shape and was checking this and that and wouldn't you know it? Some bum had already climbed on board my machine and was settling in with a limited access account! I booted the vagrant varmit out, P.D.Q. But, the NERVE!

Thanksgiving day I went down to visit Groot's part of the world. His pals give a big T-Day dinner every year. I had to scurry to avoid the rain/hail/snow/thunder and lightning/tornado warning that hit here just as I was leaving. I out-raced it. On the way back I ran into two snow flurries and some half-hearted rain but nothing too bad. Phew!

I have almost all my Christmas shopping done, now. Yay! I have to face the cards, still, so don't go pelting me with snowballs!
